Description

Do you know who Oduduwa was?

Oduduwa was according to some myths, an African prince and priest who at a certain time made a pact with the Gods of his land, in which he would pass on all knowledge and wisdom by him acquired to all his offspring. He then engaged in his journey, and at a certain point founded a center of studies whose solely objective was to re-transmit all the culture he had learned till then and teach the people from his land in the path of the Orisha. Oduduwa progressed in his spirituality and later on, upon passing away, he became an Orisha.

Here we will be studying and discussing any and all aspects related to the cult to the Orisha and Venerable Ancestors, since the ancient Cult to the Orisha itself, going through the Brazilian Candomblé (Nagô, Jeje and Congo), Kimbanda, Voodoo, Obeah, Palo Mayombe, Santeria, Catimbo, Pajelança, Xangô, Batuque and Umbanda.
