This is a Discussion Group sponsored By the Oakley Neighborhood Association open to all interested parties concerning the reuse of
properties in the Oakley Rd neighborhood.
The Boston Archdiocese's closed Our Lady of Mercy parish properties, consisting of abutting Church, Rectory, Residence, and green space at the northeast corner of the Oakley Rd/Belmont St intersection, parking lot at the northwest corner of the Oakley Rd/Belmont St intersection, and Parish Hall/Belmont Senior Center at 23 Oakley Rd has been approved for a 40 R development by North Shore Construction.
The closed Benton Branch Library is being considered for reuse as directed by the Board of Selectmen by the Benton Library Reuse Committee:

The Oakley Neighborhood Association is a neighborhood association located in Precinct 6, Belmont, Massachusetts, consisting of people associated with streets such as Oakley Rd, Belmont St, Trapelo Rd, Lawndale St, which are near the the recently closed Our Lady of Mercy Parish properties.
