If you live in the Tulsa area, you might like to attend this event that I'm participating in at the Hardesty Library tomorrow (Thursday). It's called Romance in the Stacks, and a chance for local librarians and the public to meet local authors. There is supposed to be at least nine local authors. Books will be for sale. The press releases didn't make it into the papers, so there may not be many people who show up. If you have a little time tomorrow to stop by, we'd be delighted.
General adgenda for the day will be:
10:00 a.m. Registration begins for librarians
10:30 a.m. Booksignings and visits with authors (public invited)
11:00 to 12:00 Public program (introduction of authors, readings, anecdotes, Q&A)
12:00 to 1:00 Booksignings continue, and lunch with librarians
1:00 to 2:00 Session with librarians
Hardesty Library is located behind the car lot at 93rd and Memorial. You don't need to plan on staying a long while, unless you just want to. I'll give anyone who attends a free pencil. How can you turn down a deal like that? Hope to see you there.
