ONEOcala is driven by students at Ocala's Vanguard High School, but seeks as its primary goal to involve the greater community in Ocala. Through ongoing events, ONEOcala aims to encourage awareness of the prevalence and detrimental effects of poverty and to motivate the Ocala and its surrounding communities to action in combating it. At such events, ONEOcala hopes to draw on the time and talents of the Ocalan student, artistic and philanthropic communities, as well as the emerging cultural diversity present in the area.
