Homeschool Resource Center for Northeast/Eastern/ and Southeast Ohio

Several home school families in the Stark County area are opening a homeschool resource center to fill a void they have seen for home school families. We wanted to have “A PLACE” to provide for many of the needs of the homeschooling community. Needs such as classrooms for co-ops and nurture groups, a gymnasium, fenced yard, music and dance area and messy room for arts, crafts and science projects. Along with this, we are offering outreach and mentoring to new homeschoolers and special needs homeschoolers.

We will also have a curriculum consignment shop for homeschoolers to come and browse through different types of curriculum and books. This will also serve as an outlet for those wanting to sell their curriculum, as we will have a showroom of materials on display.

We are hoping this will be “THE PLACE” to meet and network for all your home school needs. A place to check out area homeschool and community activities, to make a connection with area homeschool support groups, have a place for your co-op to meet, get a classroom for you programs and courses, have your curriculum on display to sell, preview MANY different curriculums and learning tools, and get seminars and resources for new homeschoolers and special needs homeschoolers.
