Hi all,
Apologies for cross posting, but would've copied and pasted if I hadn't:-)
Now that everything is booked, confirmed and Tim has said it'll all fit in the
hall. Please find below details of who are confirmed as attending the Convention
in May, further details will be contained in the next issue of Narrow News, or
on the Association Web Site.
Hopefully there is enough variety to suit everyone's tastes, however if there's
anything in particular that you'd like to see, or have seen a model which you
think ought to be exhibited at the convention, please get in touch.
In the course of arranging the 2009 convention, I have ended up booking some
layouts for the 2010 and 2011 conventions! Mainly as necessitated by people's
commitments. If you have a layout that you'd like to exhibit at the 2010
convention then please contact me and I'll add your details to the file. In all
my aim is to attempt to provide as wide a range of models applicable to 7mm
narrow gauge modelling as possible, however I can only book what I'm offered.
This year I've only been offered one 0N30 layout (there's another promised for
2010) and one O14 layout and no O9 layouts. If you model in any of these
combinations and would like to see them represented at the convention then you
know what to do!
The usual catering and bar arrangements have been made as before.
The following layouts are booked to attend:
The Bear Bottom Lumber Company - Tony Woodward. 0n30 logging, as featured in the
Association's On30 Manual.
Cwmfelinfach - Hugh Williams. O-16.5 Welsh passenger and general goods line, as
featured in Hornby Magazine.

coal and slate carrier
Loch Watif - Rutherford Appleton Laboratory MRC. O-16.5 independent narrow gauge
railway which has turned to electric traction and containerised freight

Continental Modeller, Model Railway Journal & Narrow Lines
The Pipe Yard - David Lenton. O-16.5 Industrial
Schynige Platte Bahn - John Attewell. O-16.5 Exhibited to show the aspects of
its construction. Based on the well known Swiss rack railway, John is using
working rack and pinion drive for the locos as the prototype uses. The
baseboards are made from foamboard rather than the more traditional timber
construction.
Stanton Lacey - Norman Goodey. O-16.5 general carrier railway, with an emphasis
on agricultural produce.
White Hill Cement Works - Mark Hesketh. O-16.5 & O14 industrial
