The idea of forming this group was unanimously decided at the end of Margaret Yamanaka's enlightening and inspiring presentation at JALT 2000 in Shizuoka City on 4 November, 2000. Most, if not all, of the members of this list are teachers of EFL/ESP to nursing students at institutions throughout Japan -- from Aomori to Kyushu. We hope to continue the lively discussion and warm atmosphere that began on that sunny day in Shizuoka.
