NumisTreasures is a list dedicated to ancient numismatics. This list was formed to create a place where collectors and dealers alike can share their experience, experiences and passion of Ancient coins and where beginners can learn and ask questions.

Also, dealers may post "advertisements" to the list, but we ask that you limit them to one a week at most. Please remember that a list full advertisements will be read by NO ONE.

Many collectors start in the noble hobby of ancient numismatics by buying uncleaned coins and eventually expand into specialized areas of collecting. People "get into" uncleaned coins for many reasons, but I would imagine that everyone can agree that one of the major reasons is the thrill of the "hunt for treasure" and the chance of uncovering a piece of history that had not seen the light of day for more than a millenium!

We hope to differentiate this list from the others by linking it to more activities and by keeping it educational, we are not looking to "compete" with other groups, rather, we feel that we can compliment them.

Whether you are curious about cleaning uncleaned coins or want to specialize in a specific collecting "theme", we invite you to participate in our list.
