Novus is a great group for families who choose to homeschool their children in Northwest Arkansas. Our group plans park days, field trips, and other educational activities regularly. Our mission is to provide uplifting and positive support to the homeschooling community in our area. All families who homeschool in our area are welcome, regardless of religious beliefs or curriculum used.

We only have a couple of rules:

*No flaming allowed. People who want to argue must do so off list. Offenders will be placed on moderated status. Repeat offenders may be deleted from the Yahoo Group.

*We ask that there not be any smoking or alcohol at any of our events in order to set a positive example for our young people.
*Messages of a political or religious nature should not be posted to our yahoo group due to the differing opinions on these issues in our diverse group. We desire a peaceful, supportive, and positive experience for everyone in our online community.
*In order to join, families must attend an event or know someone in the group who can vouch for you. This is to protect our privacy.


We have members from Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, Bella Vista, Missouri, and other surrounding communities in Washington County, Benton County, and Madison County.
