We do honor the Dual Faith period, that time of change when Christianity arrived from the south of Europe but wasn't obnoxiously trying to convert everyone. There was joint acceptance. People said, okay, this Middle Eastern God (which is like a Pennsylvanian accepting a Floridian god, so not that unreasonable) seems pretty cool. His mother was Isis and we certainly know her. We'll light a candle for him, too. It wasn't until 500 years into it that things got ugly. We don't go there. We attempt to reconstruct either pure pre-christian practices of our Northern and Western European ancestors, or the time of dual faith when there was acceptance and respect for the gods of others. Above all there must be a balance between sacred masculine and sacred feminine. We can't have god without goddess, a heavenly sky god without a sensual earth mother, mother nature. The European pre-christian faiths knew that, and once upon a time so did Christianity. Either way it's time to return to the ways of our ancestors. Genetic memory is calling us to come home.
