Welcome to Northern Ohio Unschoolers! The purpose of this group is to have a place where Unschooling families in Northern Ohio can find a local unschooling community and plan activities, field trips, park days, learning opportunities, etc... Or if you just need another unschooling family to talk with, this is the place. We are families who already embrace the unschooling lifestyle or those that are exploring this idea.
We may have lively discussion and debate but NO disrespect of members will be tolerated. This is an unschooling group. Since unschooling is a life philosophy, all subjects are open for discussion. We all may have differences of opinions but lets ALL agree to disagree at times. We may state our points but this is not a race to see who can win. We are here to learn and help enlighten. Lets be respectful while doing so.
If you would like to be part of this group, please send a brief intro and your reason for wanting to be part of the group to the list owner. It needn't be elaborate. We are presently keeping the list at restricted membership to ensure the safety of those in it and their families.
