Northeast Mushrooms is about all aspects of mushrooms including mushroom collecting, identification, taxonomy, edibilty, medicinal value, propagation, preparation and preservation techniques, photography, wool, paper, and fabric dyeing, and interdisciplinary issues such as mycoforestry, mycomediation, habitat preservation and destruction, and foraging related to mushroom collecting. Good things you find while hunting mushrooms are acceptable subjects.

Mushroom clubs, groups, mycologists, chefs, and foragers are encouraged to post their events, newsletters, web sites etc.

Membership is required and signing your posts is requested. Lively conversations are fine but bad manners or posting off topic messages is discouraged. Mycohumor is allowed. Everybody gets a lot of line here except for spammers who will be terminated immediately.
