The Normannii Reik & Thiud is culturo-religious organization dedicated to reviving the folkways of the Norman peoples of Northern Europe, known as Theodism or Theodish Belief. Utilizing history, anthropology, and comparative studies disciplines, it is our hope to reconstruct the pre-Christian religion of the Germanic branch of the Indo-European peoples. Called by many Teutonic or Germanic Heathenry (the Pre-Christian folk religion of the Germanic / Norse people of Northwestern Europe is similar to Asatru, the pagan recreation of Norse or Germanic religion but not to be confused with Norse or Seax Wicca or other neopagan magical traditions), Tribalism is an orthopraxic approach to the Heathen religious systems of Northern Europe. It reconstructs social and cultural systems as well as religious institutions, so that a holistic approach to our religious world-view is more meaningful and applicable to those that choose to follow in the pathways of their ancestors.

The Norman peoples were a warrior folk, who bore faith, honor, and loyalty as hallmarks of their obligations to self and society. They marshaled the early institutions of Germanic Law and developed the first significant legal systems in the codified era. The purpose of this list is to foster discussion and understanding of the indigenous, natural religious systems of our forebears so as to help us cope with the complex needs of people today both spiritually and culturally.
