The North Central MA Faith-in-Action Team is an educational, grassroots group dedicated to preserving traditional values based on Judeo-Christian principles. This site is for group communication and resource sharing. FIAT also means "an authoritative determination : DICTATE (a fiat of conscience)." North Central MA FIAT also publishes The Salt Shaker, a newsletter that informs the congregations of FIAT members and other faith-based groups about current events in MA related to traditional values and the political actions that threaten them. Our work is guided by these thoughts: Matthew 5:13, 16: "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” James 2:20: “…faith without deeds is dead.”
