Thanks for the information. I'll just use the speaker jack for speaker or headphones then. The fewer holes I have to drill, the better. Tom Sevart N2UHC St.

The audio level is fine for listening on a speaker in a reasonably quiet room. I used mine with an MFJ-281 ClearTone speaker and it was very useful for

Another question before I begin construction of my 2n2. Is the audio coming out of the speaker jack at the right level for headphones, or is it a bit louder?
