Welcome to the Nor Cal Retro Racing Association

This organization was formed by the Retro Racing community of Northern California with the support of the track owners and very importantly, the unqualified support of the Southern California D3 team. As most are aware, the whole retro racing phenomenon was started in Southern Cal with the sole intent of bringing slot car racing back to scale appearing cars of the late 60's era. This is a back to basics approach with hand-built, inline chassis and inexpensive and very equal motors. The idea was so successful, that the concept has caught on nationwide and is currently the only form of slot car racing that is in a growth phase. Our group is dedicated to reviving Retro slot car racing in Northern California and we invite you to join the fun.


Our forum offers a place for you to ask questions, share ideas, and get information about the Retro Racing concept. As our membership grows, we hope that everyone will want to share what they are doing. For starters, we will post up some how to and other idea threads. Feel free to join up and offer your ideas too. Post up a question about rules, schedule, or technical questions here and all members are invited to chime in.
