WHAT IS THE NO POLICE STATE MOVEMENT?

Established May 1st 2003, grown from the forces of the Anti-War / Global Justice Movement, the NO POLICE STATE COALITION, is composed of people of conscience who represent a growing movement to resist the transformation of American Society into a Full Blown Police / Corporate Security State, and to oppose the creation of a Third-World style dictatorship in the United States! We hope to awaken the nation, by sounding the alarm about the great dangers presented to our freedom by the quest for Global Empire, currently being undertaken by our extremist violent government.

We are OUTRAGED!, at the treasonous trampling of our civil liberties, and Constitutional Rights, which has occurred since the ( “INSIDE JOB” ) attacks of 911, and at the decades long deterioration of the social contract between the U. S. Government, and the American People.

WE ARE AN EDUCATIONAL ARMY!
Our members are involved in a whole range of activities that include electoral politics, independent journalism, labor organizing, street actions and sometimes legal battles. We became known for conducting regular Free Speech Events at Union Square South, currently conducted every Thursday and Sunday evening. Nightline once did a piece on the NPSC and labeled the group as anarchist and violent and put pictures of it’s activists on national television in order to intimidate anyone who may have had similar Democratic ideas. The accusation against the NPSC was completely false because the NPSC is non-violent and is neither right nor left.
