Description

We are the Nischamawat Chapter of the Coosa Lodge in the Order of the Arrow (OA), Boy Scouts of America's honor society. We promote camping, service to others and fellowship. Our chapter name comes from the Lenne Lenape language, Nischa - meaning two, and Mawat - meaning only one. Our totem is two conjoined dream catchers symbolizing two districts (and chapters) becoming one.
We are members of the Greater Alabama Council and Arrowhead District. Our business meetings coincide with roundtable, usually the first Thursday of each month.
