This is a group to discuss everything and anything related to Nikon Defocus Control lenses (DC). We will discuss all models from the first 135mm Non-D to the more recent 105mm and 135mm AF-D models.

Since these lenses are of a very special nature, many users do not know how to take advantage of the special optical properties of this lens.

As well, these lenses are known to be some of Nikon's *sharpest* optics, and are certainly among Nikon's sharpest when shot with a wide-open aperture. This group will also actively encourage discussion to help users benefit from the outstanding optical quality of these lenses.

Off-topic discussion is allowed but limited to other Nikon lenses. Discussion of Nikon camera bodies (both digital and film) and accessories are allowed but in those cases discussion must relate specifically to using a DC lens with that camera body or accessory.
