I hesitated to write again, and I apologize for inundating you with
messages! Nonetheless, I am reaching out to encourage you to show your
support by coming out to our new party, House of Latin Dance this weekend.

Everyone seems to love the three floors of dance space - there is nothing
like it in the club or studio dance scene. We plan to make it even more of a
celebration of NY dance by adding lessons and shows on every floor. Like
SPICE, our goal is to highlight and celebrate all styles and schools of NY
dance talent in a non-partisan way.

The party raises money to restore the beautiful historical landmark
building. The building owner, St. Sava Cathedral, needs reassurance that the

It is so exciting to see THE HOUSE OF LATIN DANCE COME TO LIFE! 3 floors of
passionate dance and art excitement!

The third floor is one of NY's best tango spaces. The historical landmark
building's magnificent vaulted ceilings, generous dimensions (not too big or
too small), impeccable floor and excellent DJs are tango dancer's heaven.
Experience the bliss on the third floor, then wander downstairs for a taste
of something different . . .

1st floor salsa really rocks. It's a cool, yet homey club feeling. Hats off
to hosts Anya and Jose, and to Danny for a great performance last Saturday.
See below for this week's performers.

Watch for something different on the 2nd floor "La Casa Lounge" - it is
turning into an "art space," from performance art to poetry to dance to open
mike to drumming circles to art exhibitions. Anyone wishing to share their
talent should contact Jonathan Field at jyf@....

We're changing and growing: we've added shows, plus tango and salsa lessons
every night at 9pm and a special Samba Lesson this Friday!
