DARE contains over 5000 abstracts of quality assessed systematic reviews
on the effects of interventions used in health and social care. Details of
Cochrane reviews and protocols are also included.

NHS EED contains over 7000 abstracts of quality assessed economic
evaluations.

DARE and NHS EED include details of abstracts in the process of being
written and these can be 'fast-tracked' on request.

HTA brings together details of over 7000 completed and ongoing health
technology assessments from around the world. The database is produced in
collaboration with the INAHTA Secretariat, based at SBU, Sweden.

Excerpt from Search Help:

Searching

You can search for documents using both simple and advanced techniques.

To search for documents containing a specific word, type the word into the
search window, and click the search button. The number of records is
displayed in the search panel, and a list of the documents found at the
bottom of the page. (See Viewing documents for more information on
displaying these records). You can view the results from your most recent
search at any time by clicking the Results link on the search panel.

To search for documents which contain several different words (for
example, diabetes insulin injection), type all the words in the search
window. Click the button All these words to the left of the search window,
and then click the search button. All the documents that are displayed
will contain each of the words that you have selected.

To search for documents which contain any one of a selection of words (for
example, heart cardiac coronary), type all the words in the search window.
Click the button Any of these words to the left of the search window, and
then click the search button. All the documents that are displayed will
contain at least one of the words you have selected.

To search for a specific phrase of two or more words, you should type
double quotes (") around the phrase. For example, to search for the phrase
atrial fibrillation, type "atrial fibrillation" in the search window.

One can connect via link to Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) and to ones
search history.

Results in searches show the number of records from each of the component
databases, DARE, NHS EED, and HTA as well as the cummulated record total
for all three databases.
