Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA): Guide for Small Businesses and

The U.S. Small Business Administration partnered with the U.S. Department
of Justice in developing this 15-page illustrated guide to assist small
businesses to understand and comply with the Americans With Disabilities
Act. The guide presents an overview of some basic ADA requirements for
small businesses, provides guidance on how to make business services
accessible, and provides information on tax credits and deductions that
may be used to offset specific cost.

The General Services Administration's Center for IT Accommodation (CITA)
provides assistive technology solutions to eliminate barriers for people
with disabilities. CITA is the government's principal advocate and
coordinator for Section 508 implementation that requires agencies to make
information technology accessible for people with disabilities, and is
recognized as the government-wide policy resource for Section 508.

Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP)

The Department of Defense (DoD) established the CAP to improve
accessibility for people with disabilities throughout the DoD and remove
the cost of accommodations. TRICARE, the DoD's military health system
serves as the executive agent for CAP. CAP's mission is to provide

have equal access to the information environment and opportunities in DoD
