Neighbors United for Justice and Peace (NUJP) is a group of citizens in Prince Georges County, Maryland concerned about the current war in Afghanistan and Iraq but moreso on the need for an overall system based on justice, peace, kindness, and full rights for all the world's peoples, and for the earth itself.
Our primary goals and work include: education (film festivals), participation in larger actions and movements, exploration of alternative ways of "being" on this planet including sustainable agriculture (CSA), alternative energy (solar panels), and local currency (Anacostia Dollars), etc. We also support community-building initiatives that encourage unity in diversity, justice and peace among our neighbors!
