Natomas Mother’s Group has been in existence since 1988. It started as a vehicle for support and camaraderie for mothers in the Natomas area, and is still going strong almost 20 years later. Members are both married and single, some work outside the home, some are employed part-time, and some stay at home full-time. But, everyone works hard at having fun raising their children and lending each other friendship and support. Even though we are a “mother’s” group, we have had several Dads actively involved in our weekly playgroups and outings. We encourage partners, grandparents, relatives and friends to be a part of our activities whenever possible.

The NMG provides not only activities for children, but adults as well. The kids love the monthly outings, art projects and many park days. The grown-ups enjoy our social time at the bi-monthly meetings (where we plan the coming months’ activities) and Mom’s Night Out (dinner, movies, craft night, plays, etc.).

The NMG does require annual dues payment of $40 to become a member. This entitles you to all activities and playgroups as well as access to our Yahoo Groups Page. We hope you’ll get involved in our many activities. We do have a lot of fun! Please offer your ideas and comments anytime and let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Your input is welcome!
