Discussion group aimed at sorting out the family lines of Nathan Cooper (born 1774, North Carolina; died 185-, Jackson Parish, Louisiana) and his children children: Jesse, James, Robert, Elizabeth (Compton).
Photo is Thomas Sterling Cooper (March 5, 1830-February 8, 1912), who was the son of Jesse Cooper, and his second wife, Mary Dawkins (February 4, 1939-March 4, 1919), and four daughters: Florence Gertrude Cooper Watson, Eula Amandia Cooper Watson, Myrtle Thomas Cooper Cunningham, and Fannie Dawkins Cooper Benton.
