Greetings:
Our own Pat Paul has accepted an offer as a full-time faculty member at
Northwest Indian College in Bellingham, Washington, on the Lummi Indian
reservation, in Public and Tribal Administration.
She will be teaching Public Policy, Principles of Planning, Organizational
Theory and Development, etc. and lecturing via satellite at instructional sites
at many tribal locations, including: Lower Elwha, Makah, Muckleshoot, Nez Perce
(Idaho), Nisqually, Nooksack, Port Gamble, Quinault, Samish, Skokomish,
Stillaquamish, Suquamish, Swinomish, Tulalip, Umatilla (Oregon) and Upper
Skagit.
Program goals are to train tribal members to become tribal and public
administrators in their own tribal governments/communities.
This means she will be transitioning out of her work as a pro tem tribal judge.
You go, your honor!
