NaNoArtMo for 2008 will take place in December of 2007 through January 2008. You may sign up from Dec.1 through 14th or Dec.27,2007 to Jan.10,2008. We will have an additional ArtMo in March of 2008 IF we have a co-moderator. NaNoArtMo is based on the same concept as NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) participants freely create whatever type of art they want - from finger painting and scribbles to sculpture, painting, film. Or cooking, quilting, weaving - whatever you consider to be art. There are 3 ways to "win" this year. ArtMo: 10 art projects in one month and 4 "inspiration hours" in one month. Mini-ArtMo: 4 art projects and 1 "inspiration hour". ArtMo Participant - anything less than 4 projects and at least 1/2 hour of "inspiration".
"Inspiration hours" might be reading poetry, listening to music, visiting a gallery or exploring on-line galleries, or nature walks.
The moderator will process memberships every other day. Please be patient. Flaming or rudeness will not be tolerated. You do not have to show photos of your art - simply give a summary to the group briefly describing projects & "inspiration hours".
