What can I say? Another great trip. This time it was to Doodletown. A place with
some interesting history and some great birds. We had a total
of 47 species with Cerulian and Worm Eating Warblers topping the list.
Thanks to our trip leader Gerhard Patsch from the Edgar A. Mearns Bird Club for
a great job. His enthusiasm was contagious and his knowledge was impressive.
Don't forget to register for our August 22 trip to Jamaica Bay by August 7 by
sending me an e-mail with your transportation plans, etc... Permission forms are
due by August 14. Remember there is a new permission form which lists the
remaining trips for 2009.
