New York State Southern Tier Polyamory group.

This group is for people interested in a polyamorous relationship style (which also can be known as "poly", "responsible non-monogamy" or "polyfidelity") and who live in what is usually regarded as the "Southern Tier" of New York State.

Polyamory is the desire, practice, or acceptance of having more than one romantic, loving, intimate relationship at a time with the full knowledge and consent of everyone involved. The focus here is on the relationship, not the s*x.

This group intends to be a contact point for a range of people from poly-curious to poly-experienced who live close-by to get to know each other and to create an in-person community for the region.

We are hoping to reach out to the following counties of NY State: Chemung, Steuben, Allegany, southern Livingston, southern Ontario, southern Seneca, southern Cayuga, Yates, Schuyler, Tompkins, Cortland, Chenango, and Broome. This includes Alfred, Bath, Binghamton, Corning, Cortland, Elmira, Hornell, Horseheads, Ithaca, Olean, Watkins Glen and Wellsville. It also includes people living in Northern Pennsylvania.

The group encourages conversation and involvement which may get heated. So please be kind, bring your compassion and sense of humor. Guidelines of engagement will be sent out to new members.

While we recognize that there are all sorts of related lifestyle and belief choices practiced by people who also identify as polyamorous, please note that this group is not for discussion of those issues. Our focus is on poly topics and off-topic posts will be stopped by the moderators.
