A place for parents of accelerated learners (whether in a single domain or multiple) to find each other, ask questions, share information, schedule get togethers, and vent when we need to about the unique aspects of raising an accelerated learner.

This group welcomes parents of children of all ages of "gifted" kids.

You have an accelerated learner if they naturally, without prompting, hit milestones as a infant or toddler 30% or more earlier than expected (e.g., early walkers, talker, readers) or if your child naturally works ahead in at least one subject domain by one or more grade levels. By "gifted" we mean kids who think differently and learn differently than "bright motivated children." See the related link for more about the differences.
