This is a secular support group for homeschoolers in the North Raleigh and N. Wake County area. We try to have several activities and get-togethers a month, occasional field trips, and Mom's Night Outs all in the spirit of promoting an atmosphere of respect and welcoming to people of all backgrounds and homeschooling philosophies. We welcome homeschoolers of middle and high school aged children who want to meet on a regular basis for face-to-face activities with the goal of forming lasting bonds and a sense of community.

Those just looking for an online loop which has no participation requirements, but merely serves as a source of information regarding local homeschool opportunities are encouraged to join one of the other local groups intended for that purpose such as Spice-line, Wake Homeschool Connections, NCSecular, etc.

This group is for pre-teens (age 11 and up) and teens and their families.
Siblings are welcome to join many activities, but not all.

In order to become a member of NWTeens and be given access to our e-mail loop, you will need to first attend a group event in person and then fill out a brief information form.
