NWLEAN (The Northwest Lean Networks, http://www.nwlean.net/) provides information about understanding how lean systems work, designing lean systems, and assuring successful lean implementations.

NWLEAN has provided NWLEANstudy as a means of promoting the reading of important lean literature. This area is a 'study group', studying various contemporary lean publications. NWLEAN encourages authors publishers to provide NWLEAN members discounts on group study materials, and actively works to obtain those discounts. Members will find PROMO codes in the 'messages' area. Anyone can join the group study, at any point in our readings.

If you'd like to facilitate a study, all you have to do is contact leanmaster@nwlean.net and get a copy of the 'standard work'. You don't have to be an expert to facilitate a study!

Many of the authors of the books being studied are members of the group, and will comment based on your questions. Your participation is highly valued, so get involved today! We plan on discussion only 10-15 pages per day, so it doesn't take much time to become involved. The goal is to provide an incentive to become exposed to new ideas and methods.
