This group is established to discuss and share happenings on Norfolk Southern's Harrisburg and Reading Lines. Norfolk Southern's Harrisburg line runs between Philadelphia and Harrisburg. Norfolk Southern's Reading line runs between Allentown and Reading. At Reading's Control Point Dunkle, the two lines converge combining westbound traffic from both Philadelphia and Allentown/North Jersey. Around 50 trains per day operate on these two lines making Reading an NS hotspot.

I encourage all to share photo's, experiences, and especially give a heads up as to what traffic may be coming through the area.
