NRHMOA stands for North Richland Hills Mineral Owners Alliance. We are a coalition of volunteer homeowners in the NRH/Watauga area dedicated to organizing, communicating, and negotiating the best possible Gas Lease Agreement for our area.

Our primary means of organizing our area is through spokespersons, other homeowners just like you. A spokesperson is like your subdivision’s NRHMOA representative. Spokespersons get together for meetings to discuss the direction of NRHMOA and to relay information and questions we are getting from residents in our subdivisions.

If you join, we assume that you are a homeowner and that you own real property in the NRH/Watauga area that is being targeted for gas leases. We also assume that you have not yet signed a gas lease and will not sign a gas lease until NRHMOA negotiates a contract favorable for our area. Once the lease has been negotiated for our area, it is up to you to decide whether or not to sign the lease. We would expect most people to find the lease terms to exceed their expectations and for the lease to be a document that no individual would be able to negotiate on his or her own. Thus, we would be very surprised if a significant number of homeowners did not sign the negotiated lease.

Please be aware that while NRHMOA is growing its membership base and negotiating a lease, there is a HIGH PROBABILITY that companies will try to pressure you into signing a lease. They may offer a signing bonus that sounds too good too pass up – or they may make many promises to you that they refuse to include in your lease. We would request that you NOT SIGN anything until you see the lease that NRHMOA negotiates.
