NQAPA is a national discussion list for queer (including bisexual, gay, lesbian, intersexual, transgender, questioning) Asian Pacific Americans (of all ethnic backgrounds) to come together, build community, support one another, share resources, and engage in activism against racism, heterosexism/homophobia, and other forms of oppression. This list is dedicated to providing a space for discussing the concerns, interests, and needs of QAPAs. As more QAPAs join, and as our discussions progress, the list will likely evolve in nature, purpose, and scope. Unfortunately, no single list can meet all needs, and thus, we ask our allies to respect our need for a separate, safe space at this time. Please limit forwarded postings on NQAPA to those that relate directly to queers and/or APAs. Repeated postings that are not about queers and/or APAs, Asians or Pacific Islanders may result in being removed from the list of NQAPA subscribers.
