We are looking for progressive women and men at the University of Central Florida who support women's rights. Our focus issues are women's reproductive freedoms including access to safe abortions, over the counter birth control and emergency contraception and the repeal of abortion restrictions such as parental notification laws. We also support freedoms for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders including equal marriage and adoption rights. We support the civil rights agenda and are committed to affirmative action. We demand economic equality between women and and men. We are committed to ending violence against women and are especially concerned with the epidemic proportions of domestic violence in Orange County.
