NMARES Net Second Anniversary:

Thursday Jan. 8th 2009 marked 24 consecutive months of the NMARES
simplex net. The NMARES simplex net has meet for 104 consecutive
weeks, excluding three recent holidays.

A Special Thanks goes out to all stations who have taken time to
support and participate in the NMARES net.

Also a Special Thanks to Jeanne - KD8CHH who has acted as net control
and has assisted with NMARES related duties.

Stations that checked into the NMARES net on this 2nd Anniversary will
receive a Special Limited Edition QSL Card.

The NMARES Anniversary QSL cards will be posted later this week.

This QSL card will commemorate the Northern Michigan Amateur Radio
Emergency Services Net and its 2nd Anniversary of Simplex Operations.

Thanks to all those who continue to support Simplex Emergency
Communications in Northern Michigan.

Also Please mark you schedule for the Traverse City Hamfest and Swap
on Feb. 14 hope to see you there.
