To All Request for Help from Jim Davis - KC8NTE

Good Day

Harold McNew - KD8GVG recently purchased a four "811A" tube - HF (1Kw
?) linear amplifier at the Petoskey swap.

Harold has asked me for help with repairing and setting the linear
amplifier up.

The linear appears to be a well made home brew project enclosed in a
Motorola chassis.

I understand the linear was recently donated by a local ham to the
SAARC club.

I am looking for any information on the linear and or contact
information on the prior owner(s) or person(s) who constructed the
amplifier.

Also if anyone has any knowledge or experience with this type linear
please contact me directly.

Thus far I have not been able to locate any operational information on
the amplifier in my reference material nor online.
