Seventh District E-Com Exercise October 22nd 2008.
AMATEUR RADIO
Seventh District Amateur Radio Operators, Will Conduct a Parallel
Communications Exercise on assigned Amateur Radio Frequencies.
The Amateur Radio Exercise will follow a published schedule of times
and frequencies.
This Exercise will assess Amateur Radio Emergency Communications for
all of Region 7.
The Exercise will include a series of Nets and Net Control Operators
using various bands and modes of operations.
Net participants will also provide traffic handling as requested by
Served Agencies (EOC's/ IC's/911).
Net participants will check into the Nets and provide their call sign,
location and a signal report.
Exercise participants will be asked to compile a summary of their
stations operations including the above information.
This summary will be emailed to kc8nte@... after the FE for
dissemination.
The Amateur Radio portion of the FE will conclude with a Hotwash on
Amateur Radio Frequencies.

James Davis – KC8NTE (Lead Evaluator)
Reminder: Preface all Transmissions with "This is an Exercise "
All communications will be in plain english per NIMS
Amateur Radio Station "NM8ES" will be the Control Operator Call sign
for the Amateur Radio portion of the FE.
