This list was created pursuant to the resolution passed by the Texas-Oklahoma Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild at its regional conference in Austin in 2001. It was created so that members of the NLG and other interested persons could exchange communication about matters of interest to lawyers who defend human rights, on the principle that human rights are more sacred than property rights.
