I have another comment Chris. Regarding the whole end time prophetic
thing, like the Left Behind Series. I grew up in a lot of different
countries, so am familiar with different cultural perspectives. Only
in America do Christians have that take on things, the world going down
the drain at breakneck speed and all of the "saved" getting whisked out
of danger. It's absurd. There are Believers in dire straits all over
the world who don't expect anything but the tangible Presence of Jesus
to comfort them. Instead of folding in front of fear, live fully and
richly in the ordained and sacred space that God has ordained for you
occupy. Buechner wrote about the people of Ekbatana in On The Road
With The Archangel. The comment there was that perhaps they lived more
as their Creator meant them to live than the cowed and fearful mode we
take because evil seems to reign.
