The North Kitsap Amateur Radio Club is located in Silverdale, Wa. and is dedicated to supporting the community. All Hams and prospective Hams are welcome. Any one wishing to contact the club may e-mail us at nkarc@yahoo.com or visit our web page, http://www.nkarc.org/.
Each Wednesday evening at 7:30PM we meet on the 145.430 MHz repeater (Negative shift, Tone 179.9 Hz) for the "Off the Wall" net to discuss current events and happenings in the area and general club information. This is an unmoderated net and all are welcome to call in and say "Hi!" or ask for information about the club.
We hold monthly meetings on the third Saturday of each month at Fire Station #51 in Silverdale, WA at 1000.
We are actively involved with the community at large, providing communications support for many events throughout the year.
Many of us are members of the Kitsap County Alternate Communications System (ACS) run by the county Department of Emergency Management. The KC ACS Net meets on 145.430 MHz (Tone 179.9) on Sunday evenings at 7:30pm.
