"Connecting ethical vegan families for support, friendship and fun all over NJ!"

This group was created for NJ parents who are raising their children as "ethical vegans" and who would like to connect with like-minded families for fun and support. We are vegan for ethical reasons (in additional to all the nutritional benefits) and therefore try to live as humanely as possible. Many of us do not visit circuses or zoos (but we do support genuine animal rescue sanctuaries) and do not believe in buying, breeding or using animals for entertainment in any way. Many of us also try to live as naturally as possible, including non-violent parenting and holistic living. We're all learning and growing as vegans and would like to meet other vegan families, to share experiences, offer ideas and support each other. If you have little ones at home and questions about, "Raising Vegan Children in a Non-Vegan World" please join us. Note: We welcome new friends who want to learn more about veganism for their families or who are in the process of converting to veganism. Also, if you do not yet have children but are expecting, are coupled and do not have children, are a single person, a single-parent, or if you identify yourself as a non-traditional family in any way - you are welcome here!
