This group is primarily for machinists living in and around New Jersey. Membership will be a mix of master, intermediate and new machinists. Individuals who are interested in exchanging ideas, asking questions, learning new techniques, leading to meetings, supplier visits, tail gate selling marts, during the course of the year. This group is for machinists who are interested in keeping their livelihood or hobby alive and well, by meeting new friends and using the computer to educate, communicate and share machinist information with other members for the good of all. Owners of various lathe brands are of course welcome as are machinists who live outside the New Jersey area. Non machining O.T. is O.K. Off color jokes or messages are not !

This Months users lathe is owned by Joe Penkala, he states:
Attached is a picture of my refurbished 820 (1945 vinyage according to
serial number). Picked it up a little over two years ago. It was in
several large pices and showed years of dirt and use. Now it is back to
doing work n my shop.
