* VERMONT TRIP *

To All DeMolays,

Raritan Valley Chapter of DeMolay is having a summertime trip to
Vermont, July 19 – 24, 2009. All DeMolays are invited to attend this
trip, as such, if someone has a friend who could be a possible new
member, they may attend. Additionally, any Chapter Sweetheart is
welcome to attend (there is a female escort and lodging allows for
separation).



Departure: Sunday, July 19th - departure

Location: 14 Whitney Road

Springfield, Vermont

(This is a private residence owned by a friend of mine
and her family. They have graciously opened their home to us)

city, the boys will probably have cell service.)

Return: Friday, July 24th – return locations and times
based on pick-up location(s) and traffic.



Purpose: For opening their home to us, we will be doing
some light repair work on the home (painting, sanding, small repairs,
etc). In addition, we will be taking day trips to historical places
and places of interests (i.e. Calvin Coolidge’s Home, Norman Rockwell
Museum (possibly swimming in the river), Quechee Gorge (Grand Canyon
of the East Coast), Montpellier (Vermont’s Capitol), Burlington
Vermont w/ Lake Champlain, assorted cheese factories, and possibly the
Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory (factory tour fee required), etc. (All
trips are subject to weather conditions)



Further information on the trip will be provided at least two weeks
prior to departure to include a packing list and a projected
itinerary. All forms and payments should be received no-later-than
July 13th, 2009 (these items can been collected at pick-up if need
be). Forms to be returned are your Registration form & Medical form
with copies of your Medical Insurance cards attached.
