This is a mailing list for events and opportunities of interest to home schooling families in the Northern Cook County area. We welcome announcements of field trips which are open to all home school families, area events which may be of particular interest to home school families, posting of "for sale/ want to buy" home school curriculum and related items, and brief updates regarding Illinois homeschool laws and legislation. Our goal is to promote homeschooling excellence by supporting the home educating families in our area.

Northern Cook County home school groups may wish to have one member designated to belong to this group in order to relay information on to their group's members. Individual home schoolers are also welcome to join, but must be verified by the moderator as being a home school family in the Northern Cook County area.
