This group reflector is intended for use by the team of ARRL Official Observers in the state of North Carolina, their Coordinator and Section Manager. This reflector has been created for us to have a private forum of communication and a place to discuss all things relative to the OO program of the ARRL Amateur Auxiliary so that we have a place to network, ask questions, seek help, advice and so that we may keep each other up to date relative to those activities we wish to share with our peers, our fellow OOs here in North Carolina. Many other states have websites and forums for use by their OO members and if that is a route we wish to consider in future, we will, but this Yahoo group is our starting point.

Please feel free to use this reflector to, post scheduled as well as practice or club DF Foxhunts, etc. and any other things that you feel may be of use to the group and which other OOs from around the state will be invited to attend and participate in. Please note this does not replace your monthly reports. DO NOT post specifics such as call signs or details concerning 'projects' that you or a Local Interference Committee is actively working on. Also NEVER forward messages or emails from the group to ANYONE other than those in the group of NC OOs. Failure to follow these requirements will NOT be tolerated. Remember, we are not a 'secret society', we are here to promote voluntary compliance as well as boost the 'Good Operator Report' side of the hobby/service.

The requirement for membership is that you are a NC OO, a visiting OO from another section, the NC OOC, the NC SM, an appointed leader or HQ official. In the event that you elect to stop your participation as an OO or are removed as an OO, you will also be removed from this reflector.
