Welcome to the NCDC Dance Camp Carpooling Yahoo Group.

This group exists for the purpose of assisting campers who would like to carpool to NCDC Summer Dance Camp. After camp we keep the group open, because there is no easy way to suspend it, but it is generally only in use in May and June, so please do not mail the list except when you get a communication from NCDC that rideshare is open. For ease of use, please read the following guidelines CAREFULLY.

Below are examples of the four subject lines you should use when posting to this group. Please post your ride information using the following format in the subject line:

RIDE OFFERED: From [location] to Camp, June 15th, 4-6 PM
RIDE NO LONGER AVAILABLE: From [location] to Camp, June 15th, 4-6 PM

RIDE NEEDED: From [location] to Camp, June 18th, 8 AM
RIDE FOUND: From [location] to Camp, June 18th, 8 AM

It is important to make a posting after you have found your ride or rider to minimize others contacting you for a ride or ride offer.

By using this format, riders can easily look through the thread to see currently available rides or ride needs.

When offering or requesting a ride from someone who has made a posting, please make sure your email is addressed only to them, and not the whole group. If you have other questions or concerns outside of carpooling, please contact info@ncdcdances.org
