Riding the Wind Towards the Future

We are a member of Region 5 (http://www.region5.org/) of the Starfleet International (www.sfi.org) Fan Association.

We are located in North Puget Sound, including Seattle, Shoreline, Mountlaketerrace, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Everett, Marysville, Monroe, Bothell, Woodinville and other cities of the region. However, members are welcome from all areas.

Our goal is to further the dream of Gene Roddenberry's Future, to build a world of peace, and become a species excited by the possibilities of exploration. To this end our chapter will embark in activities of community and social awareness, entertainment, and discovery.

Activities will include but are not limited to;

Role Playing Games
Social meetings
Volunteer work
Geocaching
Movie attendance
Conventions
Crafts

Our ship Commissioning was on September 20th of 2008, and guiding us through the beginning of this journey was the USS Black Hawk, commanded by Admiral Jeffrey Higdon, headquartered in Rockford, Il. (http://ussblackhawk.org/). And Region Five's Commander is Fleet Captain Joseph Fuller of the USS Thermopylae, based in Federal Way. (http://www.ussthermopylae.org/)

Members are not limited to members of SFI, however to maintain Deployed status we will need to have at all times no less than 10 active SFI members, with only 2 members of any family group counting towards this total.
