Ron Paul, a physician and former Air Force flight surgeon, has served 10 terms in the House of Representatives since 1976. Dr. Paul has been a principled opponent of the war in Iraq since its inception and opposes a troop surge. He supports repeal of the federal income tax and voted against the USA Patriot Act, the REAL ID Act, and No Child Left Behind. He is devoted to economics and has solutions for our federal economic issues including decreasing spending, decreasing federal taxes, solving social security while supporting the people who are already in need of it, and allowing people to choose their form of health care.
